Metamar's Atelier uses high-pressure waterjet technology to cut natural stone to tolerances of ±0.2 mm — enabling the intricate geometric patterns, arabesque compositions, and multi-material inlay work that define the most prestigious interiors in the world. From a single entrance medallion to a complete palace reception floor laid in complex eight-point star geometry, our waterjet capability is matched with the same premium stone supply chain that runs through our entire manufacturing operation.
Islamic geometric pattern has a particular resonance in Saudi Arabia — the eight-point star, the six-fold rosette, the arabesque scroll — these are not decorative choices but cultural and architectural language. Metamar's Atelier has the technical capability and the cultural literacy to execute these patterns with the precision they deserve, in the finest stones from our own quarries and from premium sources worldwide.
What We Offer
Statement floor centrepieces — compass roses, star medallions, arabesque roundels, calligraphic discs — cut from contrasting stones and assembled as self-contained inlay panels. Available from 800 mm to 5,000 mm+ diameter.
Eight-point stars, sixteen-point rosettes, hexagonal grids, interlaced polygons, and the full vocabulary of Islamic geometric ornament. Produced as repeating tile sets that assemble seamlessly across a floor or wall field.
Curved arabesque scrollwork, palmette borders, and naturalised floral compositions in multi-stone inlay. Requires the fine-radius cutting that only waterjet technology can consistently deliver.
Running border patterns — key frets, guilloche, braid, chevron, and custom geometric sequences — that frame a floor composition or mark a threshold between spaces. Produced in strips ready to install.
Arabic or Latin text waterjet-cut in contrasting stone inlay for floor inscriptions, room dedications, and threshold greetings. Artwork supplied by client or developed with our design team.
Complex inlay work combining marble, travertine, limestone, onyx, and brass or bronze inserts within a single floor panel. Full assembly management — material sequencing, joint widths, and installation documentation provided.

How We Work
Vector artwork is reviewed and tested for waterjet feasibility — identifying any lines narrower than 3 mm or internal corners that require adjustment. Stone palette samples are prepared for client colour approval.
Pieces are waterjet-cut and dry-assembled on the factory floor. The complete panel or a representative section is photographed flat for client review before finishing.
Assembled panels are finished to the specified surface quality and inspected against artwork for joint consistency, colour matching, and overall composition. Any variation is corrected before packing.
Panels are delivered face-mounted on mesh backing or bonded on paper facing for easy site installation. Installation guidelines and grout specification are provided. Site support available for critical installations.
