Metamar's Furniture collection produces natural stone coffee tables for the most discerning luxury residential, hotel suite, and lounge projects in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. A stone coffee table at this level is not a product — it is a commission. Each piece is fabricated from your design brief or your interior designer's drawings, using stone selected at the quarry for the precise tone and veining the composition demands.
From a low, sweeping slab of polished Tundra Grey floating above a brushed steel base in a NEOM villa, to a monolithic carved table in book-matched White Onyx for a royal suite — Metamar's three factories and 36-year fabrication heritage give our team the technical range to produce coffee tables that would be impossible for any standard stone fabricator to deliver.
What We Offer
A thick stone slab top — 40 mm to 120 mm — supported by a fabricated stone base: a solid plinth, a sculpted pedestal, or a pair of stone trestles. Top and base in the same stone for a monolithic reading, or in contrasting stones for a deliberate material dialogue.
Table and base carved from a single block of stone — one continuous object with no joint, no assembly, no visible transition between top and support. The most demanding form of stone fabrication, available in marble, travertine, and limestone. Each piece is unique.
Two consecutive slabs cut from the same block and opened symmetrically to create a mirrored veining pattern across the full table surface. Particularly dramatic in heavily veined marbles — Calacatta, White Onyx, or Simena — where the pattern becomes the design.
Stone tops featuring precision waterjet-cut inlay patterns — geometric borders, central medallions, or bespoke motifs — assembled from multiple stone types and colours into a single seamless surface. The highest expression of stone craftsmanship for landmark interiors.
Non-rectangular formats — oval, round, freeform organic — cut from large-format slabs by CNC waterjet or wire saw. Profile edges in any standard or custom configuration. Round and oval tables for seating-group compositions and softer interior schemes.
Sets of two or three complementary coffee tables at different heights and sizes — in matching or coordinated stone — designed to be composed flexibly within a seating arrangement. Nested sets for hospitality lounges and majlis-style residential living areas.

Material Selection
A coffee table's stone is experienced at close range — touched, seen from above, and lit by ambient light. The selection process matters more here than almost anywhere else in a project. Metamar's team guides clients and interior designers through slab selection in person or via high-resolution photography from the quarry or warehouse, reviewing veining direction, ground tone, and the visual behaviour of the finish under the room's lighting conditions.
Our access to 11 owned quarries and a global procurement network means we can source and match stone for the project rather than adapting the project to whatever stock is available.
Fabrication & Engineering
Natural stone furniture at this scale requires engineering as much as craftsmanship. Thin-profile tops are reinforced with a concealed fibreglass mesh or honeycomb backing to reduce weight without compromising rigidity. Bases — whether stone plinths, drum pedestals, or sculpted forms — are engineered for stability at the specified top weight and floor-contact area.
All structural details are resolved before fabrication begins, including the interface between top and base, any mechanical fixing requirements, and the crating and installation methodology — so the piece arrives ready to place.

How We Work
We begin with your interior designer's drawings or a mood board and reference images. Our team advises on stone, format, base type, and finish — and can provide design-assist sketches and precedent images before any commitment is made.
For each commission, slabs are presented — in person or via high-resolution photography — before cutting. Veining direction, book-match layout, and finish samples are reviewed and approved. No fabrication begins without client sign-off on the stone.
CNC waterjet cutting, profiling, and surface finishing are carried out at our Turkish factories. Structural details — backing, base fixing, crating — are resolved in parallel. Carved and inlay work is completed by our specialist craftsmen.
Every piece is photographed assembled, measured, and signed off before bespoke crating. Delivery is coordinated with your interior fit-out programme. Installation instructions are provided for every table configuration.
