Metamar's Furniture collection produces natural stone side tables for luxury residential and hospitality projects where catalogue furniture is not enough. Positioned beside a sofa, chair, or bed, a stone side table at this level is experienced intimately — touched daily, seen at eye level, and lit from nearby lamps. Material quality and fabrication precision are therefore non-negotiable.
Whether the project calls for a pair of drum side tables in polished Simena marble beside a king bed in a private villa, a series of coordinated accent pieces in honed Aero Cream for a hospitality suite corridor, or a single statement pedestal table in book-matched onyx beside a majlis seating area, Metamar fabricates each piece from your drawings or design brief to exacting standards.
What We Offer
A solid stone cylinder — turned on a CNC lathe from a single block — used as both base and surface. The purest expression of stone as furniture. Available in any diameter from 250 mm to 600 mm and in any height. Polished, honed, brushed, or textured finish.
A classical or contemporary column shaft supporting a stone disc or rectangular top. Column profile — round smooth, fluted, tapered, or square — matched to the interior's architectural language. Top and pedestal in same or contrasting stone for material dialogue.
A stone slab top — from 20 mm to 60 mm thick — on a stone, steel, or mixed-material base. Rectangular, square, round, or oval in plan. The slab selected for its veining character and matched across a set. The most versatile configuration for contemporary interiors.
Stone nightstand pieces designed for bedroom placement — at bed-head height, with sufficient surface area for lighting, water, and reading material. Drawer integration in a complementary material (lacquer, metal, or stone-fronted) available on request.
Side tables conceived as sculptural objects — asymmetric, organic, or architecturally derived forms — fabricated by CNC and hand-finishing from a solid block. For projects where the furniture is as much artwork as function. Each piece unique.
Coordinated sets of side tables — identical stone selection, consistent finish, uniform dimensions — produced for hotel suites, villa developments, and residential towers. Volume production with material consistency guaranteed across every piece in the set.

Stone Selection
Warm Interiors
Warm-toned marbles and travertines with soft ivory and cream grounds work particularly well in Saudi residential interiors — harmonising with timber joinery, warm-coloured upholstery, and brass or gold metalwork. Honed or brushed finishes reduce reflectivity at close viewing range and enhance the tactile quality of the stone surface.
Contemporary & Neutral
Grey and white-ground stones with strong movement are among the most requested for contemporary and transitional interiors. Their cooler, more architectural character pairs well with white plaster, polished concrete, and black or dark-stained joinery. Polished finishes on drum and cylinder tables intensify the stone's figure and colour saturation.
Statement & Luxury
For side tables intended as statement objects rather than background pieces — highly figured onyxes, dramatically veined black marbles — the smaller scale of a side table is precisely where the material's intensity can be appreciated without overwhelming the room. Back-lit drum tables in translucent onyx are a particularly effective application.
Exterior & Covered Terraces
Side tables for outdoor terraces, covered loggias, and pool-side areas in the Saudi climate require stones with low porosity and high resistance to thermal cycling and UV exposure. Granite and honed travertine are specified for these applications — fabricated to the same precision as their interior counterparts.
Precision Fabrication
At side-table scale, precision is visible. A drum table with a top surface that is not perfectly level, or an edge profile that wavers even half a millimetre from the specification, is immediately apparent to the eye and hand. Metamar's CNC turning and routing centres hold tolerances to ±0.3 mm on turned cylindrical forms — and our craftsmen hand-finish every surface and edge to verify that the machined result meets the standard before the piece leaves the factory.
For matched sets — pairs of bedside drums, or sets of four accent tables across a suite — each piece is measured and photographed against the same reference before crating. Any piece that does not meet the standard is recut or refinished. No variation reaches the client's site.

How We Work
We review your drawings, dimensions, and any reference images. For stone selection, we present slab options or — for drum and monolithic pieces — block cross-sections showing the figure and colour distribution within the raw material before cutting begins.
For new stone types or finishes, we dispatch a sample cutting for on-site review before committing to production. For matched sets, a reference sample from the reserved batch is approved before fabrication of the full set begins.
Drum and cylinder forms are turned on CNC lathes. Slab tops are cut, profiled, and finished on multi-axis machining centres. All carved detail, edge chamfering, and textured surfaces are hand-completed and verified against specification.
Each piece is measured, photographed, and inspected before individual protective crating. For matched sets, all pieces in a set are inspected together. Delivery is coordinated with your interior fit-out programme and site access schedule.
